Every grant runs through COST’s e-COST system and follows the COST Annotated Rules. About half of the training, networking and mobility budget is set aside for researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries, women and young researchers.
Short-Term Scientific Missions
Funded research visits to a lab, company or user facility in another participating country, to learn a technique, run experiments or start a collaboration.

Young Researcher conference grants
Support for PhD candidates and early-career investigators to present INFORMat work at an international conference.

- Master/PhD students and researchers up to age 40

ITC conference grants
Reserved for researchers based in Inclusiveness Target Countries presenting INFORMat-related work at conferences not organised by the Action.

Virtual mobility grants
Small grants for online collaboration: building shared datasets and protocols, organising remote workshops, or developing teaching material.

How to apply
- Join INFORMat as a working-group member via e-COST.
- Check the open call on this site: dates, budget and priorities.
- Apply in e-COST with your plan and the host’s letter of support.
- Report back after the visit or conference, then get reimbursed.
